The winner of the POM was Andreas Kronbichler from at the Department of Internal Medicine IV (Nephrology and Hypertension), Medizinische Universität Innsbruck.

Diederik De Cock and  Polona Zigon interviewed him on his study published in the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases entitled "Trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole prophylaxis prevents severe/life-threatening infections following rituximab in antineutrophil cytoplasm antibody-associated vasculitis"
