Mentor Mentee Meeting: Meet the Professor at EULAR Amsterdam 2018
EMEUNET members now have the opportunity to discuss their research and future career with leaders in the field of rheumatology in an informal way. Here are this year’s mentors at the EULAR 19th Annual European congress of Rheumatology in Amsterdam:
Professor Maurizio Cutolo (University of Genoa, Italy), whose interests inculde: Systemic sclerosis, videocapillaroscopy in systemic sclerosis, neuroimmunoendocrinology of the rheumatic disease and glucocorticoids.
Professor Joachim Sieper (Campus Benjamin Franklin of the Charitè, Charité University Hospital in Berlin, Germany), whose interests inculde: Ankylosing spondylitis, inflammatory back pain and reactive arthritis.
Professor Christopher Buckley (University of Birmingham, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, UK), whose interests inculde: Immunobiology of the stromal microenvironment, fibroblast biology, personalized medicine and basic research of chronic inflammatory diseases.
There will be three groups of mentees with 4 to 6 participants in each group. The meetings are 60 minutes in length and will take place at the EULAR Congress on Friday 15th of June 2018 at 08:00 am. It will be held in a specific room (Meeting Room D406 -Elicium) booked by EULAR to ensure a quiet environment. These meetings are an outstanding opportunity to interact, in a very informal atmosphere, with these renowned mentors.
